Defending Champions: Supermarlin Swim Club
Leading the charge is the reigning champion, Supermarlin Swim Club, with an incredible 306 points. Having clinched the coveted fifteen-year rotation shield donated by Genesis Sports Limited last year, the Supermarlins are showing no signs of slowing down. Their dominance remains unmatched as they push the boundaries of aquatic excellence.

Crawford International School and Dashing Dolphins trail in second and third place, with 199 and 160 points respectively. These teams have displayed remarkable growth and consistency, keeping the competition fierce at the top.

Intense Rivalry Among the Top 10
While the Supermarlins lead, other teams are determined to close the gap. Orca Swim Club (149 points) and Aqua Shark Fin (142 points) are hot on their heels, vying for a spot in the top three. Aga Khan Academy Nairobi (139 points) maintains a steady pace, with Nextgen Multisports Academy (92 points), Seahorses Swim Club (87 points), Potterhouse School (85 points), and Woodcreek School (82 points) rounding out the top 10.

A League Built on Collaboration and Vision
The KCAA Swimming League owes much of its success to its robust partnerships. Sponsors like Schools, Clubs, Genesis Sports Limited, Yingfa Swimwear, Zetech University, Swim Safe Kenya, Aberdare, and the County Government of Kiambu have provided vital support. Their contributions enable the league to nurture emerging talent and raise the profile of swimming within the Nairobi Metropolitan.

Dr. Douglas Okatso, Hon. Secretary of KCAA, emphasized the league’s impact, stating, “Our mission has always been to foster a culture of excellence, discipline, participation and sportsmanship in aquatic sports across the country. The overwhelming support from our partners and the dedication of our athletes have been truly inspiring.”

Setting the Stage for a Grand Finale
The league, now in its second year, has adopted international best practices, elevating its status and preparing athletes for national and global competitions. The annual award gala promises to be a highlight, celebrating swimmers, coaches, parents, officials, and partners who have contributed to the league’s success.

As the 2024–2025 season progresses, the KCAA Swimming League continues to shine as a beacon of sporting excellence, uniting the community through the shared love of swimming and providing a platform for talent to flourish on the national and international stage. With each event, the league reinforces its reputation as a cornerstone of aquatic sports in Kenya.
